Ready Player One: How Arcades Are Still The Player’s Choice

For my second audio interview, I spoke to Daniel from Yestercades in Red Bank and Ron from Sliverball Pinball in Asbury Park. We discussed why arcades are important to the community, their growing popularity, the demographics and what draws people to them.  Check out the link below!  https://soundcloud.com/kenny-bieber-677248959/yestercadesproject-2

The setting: Yestercades in Red Bank NJ and Sliverball Pinball museum in Asbury Park

The Plot: Why are Arcades still popular and what demographics they attract. Also, will they continue to be successful in the future?

Conflict. Man vs Society in that video games are becoming more household objects or perceived as childish. How do arcades prove them wrong and still attract an older audience or demographic?

Character: The character types here are individual as we’re capturing them in their natural environment.

Point of view: Contains a first-person perspective as it recounts the individual’s own experiences and personal views
